DPW/Park & Rec General Laborer
The Town of Brookfield is looking for a general laborer to work part time hours with both the Department of Public Works and Park & Recreation Department. Duties will include maintenance of vehicles, town buildings, landscaping, lawn maintenance, cleaning, and all other duties at the discretion of the department heads.Hours will be 32 hours per week from April 1 - October 31
and 24 hours per week from November 1 - March 31.

FirefighterEMT-Paramedic
Firefighter/EMT-Basic
The Town of Brookfield Fire Department accepts applications for the position of Firefighter/EMT on a year-round basis. Completed applications that are submitted to the Department will be kept on file and reviewed when it is determined that additional hiring is necessary.Applications can be obtained at the Town of Brookfield Fire Department located 645 N. Janacek Rd. Brookfield, WI. or online here. Applications may be picked-up at the station Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Minimum eligibility requirements for the position include a State of Wisconsin Firefighter 1 Certificate, a current State of Wisconsin Emergency Medical Technician – Paramedic or Emergency Medical Technician – Basic License, and a Certificate of Completion of the Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT)*. All candidates must provide copies of the above qualifications as well as copies requested in the application when submitting their completed packets.

Eligible applicants will be informed of the Department’s hiring schedule as it becomes available.
* Certificate of Completion of the Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) must be dated no later than May 1, 2007. If an applicant does not possess a current CPAT, the application may still be submitted and final hiring will be contingent on providing a certificate at the time of hire.

Baseball/Softball Umpires
Make your own schedule of the games available at Marx and Wray Parks. Pay is between $25 and $45 per game depending on level of game umpired and experience. Games run from June 1 - August 1.
